HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE Let’s say it’s 6.15pm and you’re going home (alone of course), after an unusually hard day on the job. You’re really tired, upset and frustrated. Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up into your jaw. You are only about five miles from the hospital nearest your home. Unfortunately you don’t know if you’ll be able to make it that far. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself..!! NOW HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE… Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can perhaps buy precious time to get themselves to a phone and dial 911. I’m waking up at the start of the end of the world

image

image

But it’s feeling just like every other morning before

image

Now I wonder what my life is going to mean if it’s gone

image

image

The cars are moving like a half a mile an hour and I

image
Started staring at the passengers who’re waving goodbye

image

image
Can you tell me what was ever really special about me all this time?

image

But I believe the world is burning to the ground

image
Oh well, I guess we’re gonna find out

image

Let’s see how far we’ve come

image

Let’s see how far we’ve come

image
Well I believe it all is coming to an end

image

image
Oh well, I guess we’re gonna pretend

image
Let’s see how far we’ve come

image

Let’s see how far we’ve come

image

I think it turned ten o’clock but I don’t really know

image

image

And I can’t remember caring for an hour or so

image

Started crying and I couldn’t stop myself

image
I started running but there’s no where to run to

image

I sat down on the street, took a look at myself

image
Said where you going man, you know the world is headed for hell?

image
Say your goodbyes if you’ve got someone you can say goodbye to

image

I believe the world is burning to the ground

image

Oh well, I guess we’re gonna find out

image

Let’s see how far we’ve come (right now)

image

Let’s see how far we’ve come

Well I, believe it all is coming to an end

Oh well, I guess we’re gonna pretend

image

Let’s see how far we’ve come (oh yeah)

image

Let’s see how far we’ve come

image

It’s gone, gone, baby it’s all gone

image

There’s no one on the corner and there’s no one at home

image

Well it was cool, cool, it was just all cool

image

Now it’s over for me, and it’s over for you

image

It’s gone, gone, baby its all gone

image image

There’s no one on the corner and there’s no one at home

image

Well it was cool, cool, it was just all cool
